Two policemen are among the suspects in the numerous bullion van robberies recorded in the Greater Accra region. Ghana Police said.
A statement signed by Superintendent Alexander Kwaku Oteng,Director,Public Affairs of Ghana Police service,said the Police had made a major breakthrough in the investigations into a multiple Bullion Van robberies recorded in the Greater Accra region area.
The release said the robberies occurred at Kingsway,in February 2021,Baatsona(Spintex),in March 2021,Jamestown(Adedemkpo),in June 2021 and attempted robbery at North kaneshie(Industry area)in February 2022.
It said the investigations is still ongoing and will soon bring all culpable people to face justice.
The statement said the public will be given further details as soon as it’s able to do so without compromising the ongoing investigations.
It again assure the public that,the service will continue work hard to rid our country of criminal activities that disrupts the peace and stability of the nation.
The statement therefore,call on the general public to support them in their endeavour.
