In connection with the murder and the discovery of a man’s headless body in a bush in Kpetoe, Volta Region, two people have been remanded into police custody.
The Kpetoe Divisional Police Command detained the two suspects, a traditional priest and a herbalist, after discovering that they were being housed by the main suspect, who is presently at large.
On June 15, 2022, the body of Afetor Yesu was found when the suspect showed up at the victim’s home and asked to rent a room. Assemblyman Philip Akpese Jomo of the Kpetoe South Electoral Area confirmed the arrest to Citi News and stated that the two accused have been remanded into police custody pending investigations.
He however noted that, the community is working together with the police to arrest the prime suspect and retrieve the head of the deceased.
