In the Ashanti hamlet of Kwadaso-Siloam, three homes have been completely destroyed by fire. According to locals, the fire began on Saturday morning at around 7 a.m. The fire had already grown deadly when members of the Ghana National Fire Service got on the scene, sending nearby neighbors fleeing for protection.
No casualties were reported because all 12 people who were in the premises at the time the fire erupted were evacuated. Five recently purchased vehicles that were parked in one of the residences were among the many personal items and pieces of property that were destroyed by the fire outbreak.
It has not yet been determined what started the fire. While the fire department attempts to put out the fire, the security agency has been maintaining peace in the neighborhood.
