A terrible accident has happened in Atebubu in the Bono Region, where three people died, and five others were badly injured.
A taxi with five people in it and a private car with three people inside crashed into each other on Thursday, April 20, 2023. The taxi was going to Techiman from Atebubu, while the private car was going to Atebubu from Ashanti Mampong.
Sadly, the two cars collided while trying to avoid a pothole on the road. The driver of the taxi, a nursing student, and a mother who were also in the taxi, died from the accident. The injured people were taken to the Sunyani Regional Hospital and another hospital in Wenchi.
