Ideal College students have clashed with the police in disturbing videos, following rumours of an ongoing demolition exercise. The demolishing exercise was scheduled to affect the popular ideal college school in Accra. Affected students of the school, resisted attempts by the demolishing team as they mounted stiff opposition.
Attempts by the police to control the students, however, escalated into a physical battle as students and policemen assaulted each other. The disturbing videos have been circulating via social media. Reports coming in have so far not indicated what necessitated the demolishing exercise.
After hours of the videos circulating across the internet, school authorities have not issued an official statement to address the issue. Ideal college Senior High School is a coeducational second-cycle private institution in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
