At Gomoa Buduatta intersection in the Central area, an STC bus carrying Senior High School (SHS) students from Kasoa to Cape Coast collapsed.
According to reports, a speeding tipper truck from Winneba collided with the GT-1079-20 bus, causing it to tumble.According to reports, the pupils riding the bus were from a variety of Central area schools.The incident happened early on Monday.
Reports state that while some of the victims have been rescued, others are still trapped within the bus wreck. They are being rescued by members of the Ghana National Service and other emergency services. So far, no fatalities have been reported.
