Prophet Sampson Obotang Bekoe, leader of Family African Faith Church Tarbanacle in Gomoa Sokwa, has been arrested for assaulting a woman. Prophet Obotang’s wife sought help to recover her lost GH₵200 and after consulting the said pastor, accused him of stealing it.
Infuriated by the accusation, Prophet Obotang confronted the person who helped his wife and allegedly hit a woman during the heated argument. The woman accused the pastor of stealing an organ during their church’s recent convention. The police were informed of the incident and arrested the pastor, while the victim was issued a medical form.
