Murder suspect in Kafaba witch lynching cases allegedly pregnant

[Ghanacrimes.com] —- One of the two women responsible for the lynching of a 90-year-old woman in Kafaba, Savannah Region, over witchcraft claims, is reportedly pregnant and has applied to the Tamale High Court for bail.

The now pregnant woman has been in police custody for about eight months.  She was arrested in July 2020 and how she got pregnant is of interest to everyone.

She on February 22, made an application for bail on condition that she was pregnant. However, medical examination proved that she was not pregnant.

Last year, the gruesome killing of Madam Akua Denteh went viral on social media causing several key stakeholders making calls for the protection of other women going through a similar ordeal.
