Mobile money vendor attacked by armed robbers in Takoradi

[Ghanacrimes.com] —-  Hannah Assandoh, a mobile money vendor has been attacked by armed robbers at Takoradi Presby Quarters.

The incident, according to reports occured on April 10, 2021 around 7:25 pm when two gentlemen approached the vendor to have a transaction done. Amidst the transaction, one of the gentlemen allegedly attacked and struggled with the vendor over a bag containing money.

John Abakah, A taxi driver, upon hearing the vendor’s scream for help, ran towards the altercation to help but was shot in the thighs by the robbers.

The robbers, however were able to escape with GHS 800.00 and the taxi driver responding to treatment at the Effiankwanta Government Hospital.
