In a shocking turn of events, approximately 50 members of Resurrection Power New Generation Church were left with varying degrees of injuries following a major accident involving four vehicles. The incident unfolded at Menskrom Weija Junction along the Accra-Kasoa highway this past Sunday. Eyewitnesses report that a police officer driving a Toyota Vitz, who was heading from Kasoa tollbooth to Accra, attempted an ill-advised overtaking maneuver and collided with the Tata bus carrying the church members. Consequently, the bus careened into two parked vehicles nearby, an old Benz and a KIA Rio taxi.

Among the victims were children, further heightening the gravity of the situation. Authorities from the Ghana Fire Service and the police swiftly arrived at the scene to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic, while investigations into the incident are expected to be underway.
This distressing accident serves as a stark reminder of the need for responsible driving practices and adherence to traffic regulations. The Resurrection Power New Generation Church and the entire community are left grappling with the aftermath of this tragedy, hoping for swift justice and a speedy recovery for those affected.
