At Gomoa Aprah, near Gomoa Buduburam in the Central Region’s Gomoa East District, a man was stripped naked and stoned to death. According to information acquired by Ghanacrimes, the deceased was not well-known in the community. Members in the community believe he was brought to the area and executed after being stripped naked.
Some residents claim they heard someone yelling for help around 1:00 a.m. Monday but were too scared to help him. Samuel Ofori, a worker at the Block Factory where the dead corpse was placed, stated in an interview that he heard someone screaming for help but couldn’t come out because he was terrified.
Meanwhile, residents have stated that this is not the first time an occurrence of this nature has occurred. According to eyewitnesses, blocks, stones, and sticks were found next to the deceased, and they were suspected of being used to kill him.
The body was deposited to the Winneba Special and Trauma Hospital Mortuary for autopsy and preservation after the Assembly Member and some residents reported the case to the Buduburam police station for investigation. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
