According to reports, a man in his mid-30s was fatally beaten to death after attempting to steal a Grand Bird bus at Asafo in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region. According to reports, the tragedy happened at first light on March 8, 2023, a Wednesday.

According to reports, the deceased arrived at the terminal of the VIP Transport Company around 4am, started the relevant bus, and then attempted to flee in it. The bus in question was a Grand Bird with the registration number GE 2304-10.

Upon becoming aware of the situation, the driver’s assistant of the aforementioned bus used some assistance from bystanders to follow the suspect in a tricycle.

The deceased thought about getting off the moving bus at one point, but the mob caught him and battered him severely. Before coming to a stop, the abandoned bus, which was still moving, is said to have damaged a nearby car.
