Samuel Hagan, 25, is fighting for his life after being brutally murdered by his ex-husband wife’s in the Central Region village of Ekumfi Abontsi. Following the crime, the suspect, Kwame Tawiah, is still at large.
According to the information acquired, the victim, who is the father of a 4-year-old boy who lives with his ex-wife, went to her residence to offer her money and food for the care of his son after she informed him that the child was ill and had been admitted to the hospital.
Mother of the victim, Adjoa Eduamah, revealed that when Samuel entered the compound, the current husband, Kwame Tawiah, questioned his reason for coming to the house. Adjoa Eduamah says it became an argument between the two of them. She said at first, the suspect wanted to wound her son with a shovel but her son was able to escape the shovel attack and decided to leave the area.
But, according to Adjoa Eduamah, the suspect returned to his home, got a cutlass, and attacked her son as he was returning to Ekumfi Dunkwa. The victim is currently receiving treatment at the Mankesim Hospital, and a formal complaint has been made at the Essaekyir police station.
