At Akyem Begoro, in the Fanteakwa region of the Eastern Region, two siblings tragically perished after being struck by lightening.
According to a UTV report from Accra, the victims, who were 16 and 14, were out picking mangoes as it was raining heavily and thundering.
They allegedly perished immediately after being struck by lightning. Since then, the Akyem Begoro mortuary has received their corpses.
In response to a question about where their parents were, the reporter said that they were inside while their kids were out in the rain searching for mangoes.
