A 29 year old man Atiogbe Ayi has been killed by land guards at Awutu Papase in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region, and he was also robbed of 5,000 Ghana cedis. The victim claimed that there were around four land guards who attacked him.
The victim revealed in an interview with Kasapa News’ Yaw Boagyan that he was going to visit the property where he was intending to develop when regrettably, notorious land guards assaulted and brutally slaughtered him.
He further stated that after butchering him, the infamous land guards robbed him of GHC 5,000. The victim was taken urgently to Agona Swedru government hospital before being transferred for further care to Winneba trauma and specialty hospital. According to the article, the suspects were in the meantime on the police’s list for attacking landowners and people. So, the victim has requested that the IGP and the Awutu Ofaakor District police command detain the offenders and present them in court.
As of now, no one has been arrested.
