An incident that occurred in the neighborhood on Wednesday, July 27, has not yet been fully processed by the residents of Anoe in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis. The driver of a cement-filled truck that overturned and fully blocked the main route was hurt. A 13-year-old boy was injured and is currently in critical condition after a tricycle rider hired to deliver cement from the truck crashed into a store.
While some locals believe it to be just another accident, others assume it to be spiritual. They argue that it is unrealistic for a cement-filled truck to flip over and for a tricycle that was aiding in the dump to also be involved in an accident.
According to a local who spoke to GhanaCrimes.Com News, the victim was struck down and dragged to a nearby kiosk along the road after the tricycle took off at top speed after being laden with cement while the victim was carrying firewood from the farm. “The firewood lessened the severity of the impact on the sufferer; if not, the accident would have been fatal; looking at how accidents have been occurring on this road lately, we believe it is a result of spiritual effects. The sufferer, who had a head injury, was taken to the hospital right afterwards and is now receiving care.
