Tyron Marghuy’s father has apologized to the public for accusing his son of assaulting two Rasta pupils who were first denied entrance to the Achimota School.
Tereo Marghuy says the situation was terrible, and he didn’t expect it to be publicized because he just shared the information with a few people for advise.
“Please accept my heartfelt apologies if I have offended anyone. I apologize to everyone for having to go through this,” he told Citi FM in Accra on Wednesday.
Mr Marghuy vented his rage in a viral video on social media, accusing his son of being disobedient recently. He also showed off a swollen hand that he said was caused by Tyron.
He revealed that his current condition stemmed from a failed attempt to reconcile a conflict between Tyron and his sister.
“This is the third time something similar has happened because he stepped right over me and I rushed at him.” For doing that, I wanted to slap him.
“He does that every time,” he stated, presenting his hand to the camera. “He grasped my hand so firmly, I don’t know if he had anything or whatever with him, and this is what he did.”
“He [Tyron] was so arrogant, so I wasn’t even ready to follow him anywhere,” Tereo Marghuy said in the video. “I went to the court with him and defended him solely for the sake of humanity; for the sake of Rasta, if it hadn’t been for this boy, I wouldn’t have gone.”
He has, on the other hand, asked with Ghanaians to forgive him for the occurrence, promising that it will never happen again.
“All he did was hold my hand while we struggled.” All of this should not have happened. We need to calm down and figure things out. It’s sad that it was made public and that individuals have developed their own opinions,” he remarked.
