A fire outbreak around 2am on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 has destroyed several stores at a Apremdo New Market in Takoradi.
The cause of the fire is not yet known but officials of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) were at the scene battling the fire at 2am after several calls were made to them.
According to GhanaCrimes.Com’s reporter in Takoradi, the fire started as early as 2am and burnt down three shops. A boutique, a barbering shop and bakerery shop.
The fire occurred closer to the slaughter house located in the market. TakoradThese owners of these shops couldn’t retrieve any item from their shop as the fire was intensive.
