In Ghana, there’s been a troubling incident involving a traditional priest who performs special rituals. This priest, known as Togbe Gadefia, has been taken into custody by the police. He is suspected of attacking his former girlfriend, Rakia Huseini, with a large knife called a machete. Rakia was hurt badly and had to be quickly taken to the hospital.
The story goes that Togbe Gadefia and Rakia Huseini used to be in a loving relationship. However, Rakia decided to end their relationship and marry someone of the Muslim faith. This decision left Togbe Gadefia feeling heartbroken, and he made many efforts to try and win her back, but Rakia remained firm in her choice.
On the evening of Monday, September 11, 2023, a distressing event unfolded. Togbe Gadefia allegedly ambushed Rakia and used the machete to harm her. It’s even reported that he attempted to cut off her head, but she bravely used her hand to shield herself, resulting in her hand being amputated. Additionally, he inflicted severe damage to her kneecap. Thankfully, Rakia was discovered by passers-by who rushed her to the hospital, where she is currently in stable condition but in need of surgery. Gadefia has voluntarily surrendered to the police, and they are now conducting an investigation into this distressing incident. It’s a deeply troubling and concerning situation.
