At least four people have been killed and several others injured in an explosion at a quarry site in Shama, Ghana, on Sunday, 10th September morning.
This explosion took place at the G-Omini Quarry in the Shama District. It happened when people were working the night shift, including some from Ghana and China. Some of the hurt people look so bad that you can’t even tell who they are.
The ones who got hurt have been taken to different hospitals, and right now, they are trying to find the people who are still missing. The explosion also made a lot of damage to the quarry site. The leader of Shama, Ebenezer Dadzie, said the company did something wrong. They were keeping explosives without permission, and that’s not okay by the law.
