EOCO arrests four more in conjunction with baby theft

[Ghanacrimes.com] — EOCO has arrested an alleged baby trafficking syndicate. The Executive Director of EOCO, COP Frank Adu Poku, his outfit has been on the manhunt for people and syndicate who steal and sell babies. The manhunt led to the arrest of four people.

According to COP Frank Adu Poku, EOCO has in custody three stolen babies. The babies have been sent to foster homes pending a final determination of the case.

He explained that, in February 2020, EOCO got hint that two women named Florence Aquah and Eleanor Ofori Nsiah, had allegedly gone to purchase a baby from Susan Clinic located at Lartebiokorshie in Accra. This led to the arrest of the two women.
