Driver arrested for transporting human bones to fetish priest

[Ghanacrimes.com] — A 22-year-old driver,  Awatey David Okra and a 20-year-old accomplice, Amenuvor Nicholas, have been arrested by the Coaltar Police in Ayensuano district in the Eastern region for having in possession quantities of suspected human bones in their car. They were transporting it to a fetish priest.

The incident happened on on April 8, 2021 following a tip off by people in the community. The unit committee chairman of Kwamekyere Electoral Area – Aware Isaac together with two others- arrested suspects and sent them to the Police.

A search conducted in the Daewoo taxi cab with registration number GE 5063-15 they were driving revealed a black suitcase containing suspected human bones.

The police together with the two suspects, visited the shrine of the said fetish priest but the fetish priest had bolted.
