According to the Ghana Health Service (GHS), two persons have passed away in Ghana as a result of catching the deadly Marburg virus. The Ashanti region is where both cases were found.
According to the GHS statement, 98 people are currently in quarantine as suspected contact cases. Marburg does not have a known cure. The virus enters humans through fruit bats and spreads between people through the exchange of body fluids.


It is a serious illness that frequently results in death, and symptoms include bleeding, bloody vomiting, fever, headache, and muscle discomfort.
