Wisdom Addeh, 24, has been given a four-year prison sentence by an Adenta Circuit Court for stabbing a driver’s buddy who was peeing behind his bathhouse. The court also mandated that the victim, Asana Abu Salam, get GHC2,000 in compensation from Addeh, who is unemployed. According to reports, the accused, who is now a convicted criminal, used a shattered bottle to repeatedly stab the victim in his chin, neck, and belly. Addeh admitted guilt after being accused of harming others. Salase Addeh, his alleged accomplice, is still at large. He requested a chance to pay for the medical expenditures from the court, which was presided over by Mrs. Sedinam Awo Balokah, and made a commitment not to act in the same way again.
Inspector Eric Abban, who led the prosecution, claimed that Asana Abu Salam, the complainant, shared an apartment with the defendant in Adenta. According to the prosecution, the complainant, who lived next to Addeh’s home, went to use the restroom behind the prisoner’s bathhouse on January 17, this year, at around 3:30 pm. The complainant was allegedly attacked and thrown against a wall by Addeh, who had just finished taking a bath. The victim and one Salase Addeh, according to the prosecution, assaulted the complainant until he was saved by a witness in the case. According to the report, the prisoner proceeded to his chamber, pulled up a broken bottle, and repeatedly stabbed the complainant in the belly, chin, and neck.
According to the prosecution, the victim arrived at the police station bleeding, and the defendant was then taken into custody. It claimed that the plaintiff received a police medical paperwork to request medical attention.
