The court has sentenced an armed robber arrested by the police in Sefwi Nketieso in the Western region to 16 years in prison. On May 29, 2022, the convict, Isaac Addae, paid a visit to his victim, a gold buyer, under the guise of selling him some gold. Isaac Addae pulled out a knife, stabbed the victim, and robbed him of GHC15,000.00 and a cellphone when the victim escorted him to his room to weigh the gold.
He was sentenced to 16 years in jail with hard labor on June 9, 2022, after pleading guilty to the accusations made against him. We have displayed Isaac Addae’s pictures in accordance with our new standard operating procedure because he has been formally convicted and is no longer a suspect. Any member of the public who recognizes him as a suspect in other crimes is urged to call the local police station for assistance.
