A young man named Kwame Antwi tragically perished while attempting to get by at a Galamsey site. The late Kwame Antwi, who was in his mid-20s, reportedly went to the mining site in Nwenoso number 2 with his companions, according to an eyewitness account.
The report indicates Kwame Antwi slipped and fell in the nearby pit they were working in search of the golden stones. His friends who he went with put their acts together and retrieved Kwame Antwi from the perilous pit but that was not enough to save him.
Upon reaching the hospital, doctors confirmed him dead before arrival, his body has since been deposited at the Toaso Mortuary.
