31-year-old sentenced to 12 years for robbing a Momo vendor

[GHANACRIMES.COM] — 31-year-old Aglidza Obed has been sentenced to 12 years imprisonment in hard labour.

He was arrested on May 13, 2021, by the New Ayoma Police for attacking and robbing a mobile money vendor at Likpe Kukurantumi.

The evidence presented to the Court included a handbag and a Tecno phone recovered from the convict which contained a specified amount of money showed that the convict was guilty.

The Police has advised especially Mobile Money Vendors to be security conscious and support the Police with valuable information about suspicious characters in their communities.
