A 23-year-old man named Yaw Boagyan has been arrested for trying to hurt his mother and sister. This happened in a town called Twifo 34 in the Central Region on a Friday.
Yaw Boagyan is said to have used a machete to attack his 57-year-old mother because she didn’t want him to sell her cocoa beans. His sister, Monica Nanor, tried to help, but he also hurt her with the machete.
Both the mother and sister were taken to a hospital called Twifo Praso District Government Hospital, where they are getting medical care. Yaw Boagyan is now in police custody, but he hasn’t been charged with a crime yet. The police are looking into what happened and want anyone who knows something about it to come forward. They want to make sure people who do wrong things face the consequences.
