Two Best Point Savings and Loans Limited IT employees, Silas Adjei and Kwadwo Kudekor, as well as a husband and wife team, James Afadzie and Patient Adjei, have been sentenced to prison terms for stealing more than GH1.2 million from the financial institution.
Following a thorough trial and convictions for conspiracy to steal, stealing, unauthorised interference, money laundering aiding theft, and dishonestly receiving, the four received jail sentences last Friday.
Judge Malike Wornya presided over the court, which handed down sentences of seven years in jail for Silas Adjei, three years for Kwadwo Kudekor, five years for James Afadzie, and five years for Patience Adjei.
